Happy Summer! We hope you are all enjoying some time away from work and school. We want you refreshed and ready to join us for our Fall fundraisers.
Summer is no time to rest for the Fix Georgia Pets team. We're urgently educating folks about puppy and kitten season and, more importantly — ushering them over to our 'boots-on-the-ground' partners to get their pets fixed BEFORE the inevitable accidental litter arrives.

Our CEO, Tricia Holder, was on the scene this month when our amazing partners at the Humane Society of Forsyth County (HSFC) onboarded 20 dogs from a puppy mill bust in Dade County, Georgia.
In gratitude to HSFC for taking on the high costs of urgent medical attention, grooming, and extended care, Fix Georgia Pets is committed to helping them cover the costs of spay/neuter procedures.
How much we can help depends on you — let's ensure these overbred pups never have to worry about another litter again. It's time for each of them to know life as a pampered pooch and live healthier, happier lives!
Carpathia Paws tirelessly serves Liberty and Long counties — where the vets are few and fixing your pet is unaffordable for most. They book up to 100 spay/neuter appointments monthly for community members who cannot afford surgery, which adds up to around $5,000/month for just these two counties!
Their last grant from Fix Georgia Pets enabled them to spay/neuter 37 cats and 15 dogs, totaling 52 pets. For those wondering why there are fewer dogs than cats, the cost of fixing one dog is equal to fixing two cats. Additionally, cats can produce 3-4 litters per year, compared to dogs' capability to produce 1-2 litters, requiring faster intervention.
Help us proactively spay/neuter NOW — while puppy and kitten season is in full swing. We need to continue helping small, yet determined organizations likeCarpathia Paws to meet their challenging monthly demands.
